Consisting of a book and DVD, this hybrid product features contributions by creatives from around the world in three media forms of print, film and music.The book features the best submissions from the visual remix project Isolate that was created by Funkstoerung and Australian photographer and art director Mark McPherson.Holding an open call for designers to create a cover for their latest album ‘Disconnected’, Funkstoerung received a tidal wave of entries from over 600 international designers. This collection includes incredible work from fresh talent such as Keep Adding (US), David Gleber (US), Maiko Gubler of Alrt (Germany) and Paulo Lima of Nothing Lasts Forever (Portugal) as well as Andrew Johnstone of Design is Kinky, Yok! and Victim(Australia).The interactive DVD includes exclusive bonus tracks as well as video clips for all of the music from ‘Disconnected’. These were produced by some of todays most diverse and exciting filmmakers, directors and animators and are presented in an inspirational interface designed by the Die Gestalten design studio.
